Chase Best Throws a Shutout
Saturday the Lumberjacks had a Double Header against the Harrisonburg Turks where Chase Best started in game one and pitched an amazing game! It was also Greenbrier Motors Night without corporate sponsors like them we wouldn’t be able to have such a great season! CHECK THEM OUT!

Making his first start of the season, our POD is Covington’s Chase Best, from Lawson State Community College! Chase was the best last night, putting up an 80 game score due to 7 shutout innings against the Turks while allowing 3 hits, 0 walks, and striking out 9. He only threw 66 pitches! Chase is now 5-2, 2.73, with 28 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched.”
