The 2016 Lumberjacks Baseball team will be putting on their third Annual Baseball Camp! This camp is to work on baseball basics and skills for girls and boys ages 6-16! LUMBERJACKS BASEBALL CAMP
The Lumberjacks Baseball Camp is designed to teach students skills, fundamentals and knowledge of the game of baseball. Individual and team drills will be incorporated in daily activities as well as game competition. We will emphasize a positive learning environment in which each camper can improve his or her skills. The camp is sponsored by the Covington Lumberjacks Baseball, Inc.

When?
Wednesday, June 22 – Saturday, June 25
Where?
Casey Field, Covington, Va.
Who?
Boys and Girls, Ages 6-16
Cost?
$45.00 a child (if paid before the 15th)
*After the 15th we will add a $5 late fee charge but will still take applications until the day of camp
This camp will be facilitated by the 2016 Covington Lumberjacks, the cost of camp will include a T-Shirt and on Saturday, June 25th, the children that attend the Home Game at 7:00pm, will run out on the field with the Jacks and will be recognized for all their hard work!
*** All proceeds from this camp will go to the Lumberjacks baseball team and provide travel and meal money for the Jacks.

Location: All camp days will be held at Casey Field in Covington, Va. – in the event of bad weather or something changes, please check the Facebook page for updates.
Separate Age Groups: Participants will generally play in their own age group or grade level. However, we reserve the right to move a camper up in the age groups depending on their skills and abilities.
Items to Bring: Glove or mitt, baseball shoes, favorite bat, batting gloves, hat, practice pants and t-shirt. NOTE: Please write camper’s name on all items. The Lumberjacks are not responsible for loss or damage of any camper’s belongings.
Parent Participation: Parents are encouraged to attend the camps to watch if they would like! But we do ask that all parents sit in the stands and NOT go on the field during the camp.
Children should be dropped off between 8:30am-9:00am and picked up between 12:00pm and 12:30 pm.
