The Lumberjacks organization feeds the team and staff after every game.
We welcome and APPRECIATE community assistance! We encourage local churches, youth groups, ladies groups, men’s groups or community clubs to consider providing one meal during the season. If you’re an individual, family, or group interested in preparing a simple meal for us to eat at our concession stand after home games, please contact Dizzy Garten by e-mailing covingtonlumberjacks@aol.com or calling our office at 540-962-1155.

We feed approximately 40-50 people, which includes the team, coaches, trainer, bat boy and press box staff. If you are unable to prepare a meal, but would like to help feed the team, we welcome financial donations and we will do the legwork! Make your checks to Covington Lumberjacks and mail to 201 West Locust Street, Covington, VA 24426 or
give to Dizzy at the games.

On the road, we also feed the team after every game, which often means lots of pizza! These players are away from home and family, and TRULY, thoroughly, absolutely, definitely enjoy some good HOME-COOKED MEALS!!!
